Mr. Gonzalez is the Director of the Championship Camps. He previously directed the Mock Trial camp at UTD's Mean Green Comet Debate Camp from 2016-2018. Prior to that, he worked at various debate summer camps in Texas for 15 years.

He is currently the mock trial coach at the Law Magnet in Dallas. He began coaching the team in 2014. His teams have qualified to the state tournament every year. In 2018, 2020 and 2021 his teams finished 3rd in the Texas State Bar competition. His team has won back-to-back-to-back Dallas City Championships. In 2023 and 2022, he coached back-to-back national champions at the National Judicial Competition. Students from those teams won Best Attorney and Best Witness at the national tournament. In 2021, he coached the Outstanding Advocate at the Texas State tournament.
He earned a B.A. in both Economics and History from Southern Methodist University. He studied law at The University of Texas School of Law. He holds a Masters in Education Administration from UNT and a Masters in Theological Studies from Ave Maria University.
Ms. Rojas is a well-regarded high school educator with over 25 years of teaching experience. She has also spent over 10 years working for the Brewer Foundation where she has organized and supervised students attending the Future Leaders Program summer camp.

Prior to entering education, Ms. Rojas worked for the Baker & Botts law firm. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she majored in criminology.
Ms. Rojas is returning for her sixth year at the Championship Mock Trial camp.
